Child Head Immobilizer

This item has been specially developed for use in rescuing children and young people.

Made of foam and coated with polyethylene, this immobiliser is highly resistant and impermeable to liquids and body fluids (preventing the appearance of bacteria). It is designed to be applied on a rigid plane with a cervical collar, to fix the head and neck in the correct position. The firm cushioning underneath and on the sides of the patient’s head is complemented by elasticated straps placed on the forehead and/or on the front of the cervical collar.

Contains two ear-cut head blocks, a universal base plate and two durable head straps. It includes a head strap adaptable to the patient’s forehead and two large ear holes for monitoring the patient’s haemorrhage (outer diameter of the hole: 4,5 cm). Can be used for X-rays, MRI or CT scans.
